Get ready to ride in the 28th Finger Lakes Ride for Life!
The Finger Lakes Ride for Life is the Southern Tier AIDS Program’s biggest fundraiser of the year!
About the Ride
Cyclists from all over gather at Stewart Park in Ithaca NY to Ride around Cayuga Lake while fully supported by a contingent of volunteers at the seven pitstops placed strategically around the lake. Riders will also be assisted by vehicle safety and gear support (cars and motorcycles), bike repair techs, a lunch pitstop at the halfway point, and a great celebration to follow at the finish line! You can also register for smaller routes instead of the 90 or 100 miles around the lake, we have smaller options ranging between 14 to 42 miles that begin at specific pitstops and require a short bus ride from Stewart Park.
Registration opens on April 1, 2026, and there’s no registration fee to sign up. To participate on ride day, riders are asked to raise or contribute $200, with every dollar supporting STAP’s work to provide housing stability, health care coordination, harm reduction, youth support, and essential services for people living with HIV/AIDS, individuals managing chronic illness, LGBTQ+ youth, and others who rely on our programs.
Every registered rider receives a personalized fundraising page and easy-to-use tools to help make fundraising fun and successful — including the ability to create your own fundraising events, livestream your efforts, text donors to say thank you, and more. Whether you fundraise, self-donate, or do a mix of both, you’ll be making a meaningful impact.
